'It can never be Emilokan' - Comparison between Tinubu, Argentine Prez who flies commercial to reduce govt spending

The President of Argentina, Javier Milei, was recently spotted flying in a commercial plane to reduce government spending.

Having emerged as the President in December 2023, President Milei has began to show the citizens of his determination to structure the country's economy.

Moment he was spotted on the commercial flight, excited Argentines gave he a round of applause and hailed him.

In reaction to their praises, Milei stood up to acknowledge their cheer.

The video which has since gone viral, attracted several reactions from netizens, especially Nigerians.

Some took to social media to compare President Bola Tinubu luxurious spending of the people's money to the actions of the Argentine President. Both of which assumed office in 2023.

Recall that upon assuming the office of the President President Bola Tinubu has received criticisms over his lavish spending.

It was reported that President Bola Tinubu’s administration has proposed to spend N5.095 billion on a presidential yacht despite the unprecedented level of poverty and hardship in the country.

The administration also budgeted the sum of N19.3 billion to buy vehicles for the President and renovate the President’s and Vice President's lodges in Abuja and Lagos.
