Israel kills one child every 10 minutes in Gaza – Buhari’s ex-aide, Ahmad claims

Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to former President Muhammadu Buhari claims Israel kills a child every 10 minutes in the Gaza Strip.

Ahmad in a post on X said Israel is targeting children in the war.

“Israel kills a child in Gaza every ten minutes,” he wrote in the post.

This comes after Israel launched a military campaign on the Gaza Strip that has left more than 34,000 Palestinians dead.

Israel’s military campaign followed an attack launched by Hamas in October that left 1,200 Israelis dead and led to 253 being taken hostage.

Meanwhile, hundreds of students have been arrested across universities in the US after pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian demonstrators clashed at UCLA.

The pro-Palestinian encampment at the University of California at Los Angeles has expanded in recent days, but counter-protesters have also become increasingly vocal and visible.

On Sunday, the mood turned ugly when some demonstrators broke through a barrier that had been set up to separate the two factions, according to Mary Osako, UCLA’s vice chancellor for strategic communications.
