Controversial Islamic cleric, Yusuf Olatunde Oladimeji has reacted to the death of popular televangelist, Temitope Balogun Joshua popularly known as T.B Joshua.

Prophet Joshua died on Saturday, June 6, 2021, after a church service. He was the founder and head pastor of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

Premium Times reports that he was flown to Turkey after suffering a stroke two months ago. It is, however, unclear if he died as a result of the ailment.

Reacting, Mr Adepoju who is a big critic of Christians spoke about how he attempted converting the popular preacher to a Muslim.

He wrote on his Facebook wall: "In 1998, I traveled to Lagos with a view of converting him to Islam. But, my efforts were to no avail."

"Upon hearing his death news today 4pm, I was pained that T.B Joshua died without embracing Islam. Ishaa Allah, I will keep working on other pastors," he added.
