Photos of President Muhammadu Buhari's graveyard have generated mixed reactions on social media.

The images were shared by Special Assistant to Buhari on Digital Communications, Ahmad Bashir, on X on Monday, September 8.

At the graveside were his senior government officials and the Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umar Radda.

They offered prayers for the soul of the late Nigerian leader at his Daura hometown.

“The Governor of Katsina State, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, today, in the company of some of his senior government officials, visited to the resting place of our boss, former President Muhammadu Buhari. They offered prayers for the soul of the departed leader, seeking Allah’s mercy and eternal peace for him,” Ahmad Bashir wrote on X.
