Instagram deletes Reno Omokri's account?

The Instagram account of Reno Omokri, a leading member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been removed from the picture-sharing app.

A quick search by MyNigeria on Tuesday, September 5 shows the PDP Chieftain doesn't have an account on the social media platform any longer.

It remains unclear is he deleted the account or it was removed by Instagram.

"Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Go back to Instagram," was seen after the search.

Omokri's Instagram handle was arguably one of the most visited by Nigerians prior to the 2023 presidential elections.

Aside from it being a medium by which he used to sell the candidacy of presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, he used the same platform to de-market Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

He has a several occasions used the platform to share his thoughts on some of the viral topics in Nigeria.

Omokri, who is also a motivational speaker used his platform to share thought-provoking ideas with his followers.

His Twitter handle was active at the time of filing this report.
