In-form Super Eagles and Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has gathered applause from football pundits across the globe for his fine form in the league.

The latest to hail the Nigerian forward is Leicester City legend, Iwan Roberts who believes Iheanacho is benefitting from consecutive starts in the games.

He made this known as he spoke to the Foxes' official social media handle.

Iheanacho was the hero as he scored the winner for the Foxes in the FA Cup semi-final win over Southampton on Sunday.

So far in his 31 appearances this season, the former Manchester City forward has scored eight goals in the Premier League, four FA Cup goals, and four Uefa Europa League goals, Brila.net reports.

In an interview with Leicester City social media channels, Iwan Roberts said the 24-year-old striker is reaping from his consecutive starts for the club.

“It doesn’t matter what part of the penalty area he is, they (balls) just seem to fall for him. The consecutive starts are paying dividends for Kelechi Iheanacho.”
