Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has declared that the South East is fully behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that no president from the South East has done as much for the region as Tinubu.

In a recent gathering, Umahi said, “The Biafra we have been looking for is here, and that is with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. If you want to debate with me, you can come and debate with him. No president from the South East can do what Tinubu is doing for us. Not Peter Obi.”

Umahi, a prominent political figure in the South East, affirmed that the region would express its gratitude by voting massively for Tinubu in the 2027 elections, emphasising that the low voter turnout from the South East in the last election would not happen again.

“We (Igbos) will show our appreciation and vote President Tinubu massively for what he is doing in the South East,” Umahi declared.
