If they give money collect but vote your candidate - Buhari advices Nigerians as he casts his vote

President Muhammadu Buhari has advised Nigerians to collect any money politicians give them to buy their votes and go ahead to vote for their preferred candidate.

The president said this after casting his ballot at his polling unit 003, Sarkin Yara A in Daura, Katsina State.

Speaking briefly to the media, President Buhari said his government preached against vote-buying and monetization of politics.

He added that his administration earlier also cautioned politicians to desist from engaging in such acts.

Buhari said; “If they (politicians) still give you money, collect, but vote for your preferred candidates.”
