'If he like he should trek' - Wild reactions as Obi hits Tinubu for 124 vehicle convoy

Presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi sparked controversy on social media by calling President Bola Tinubu's convoy of 124 vehicles ridiculous and urging Nigerian leaders at all levels to set an example.

The statement was made in response to the outrage that Nigerians were feeling after Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's outrageous display of power during a recent visit to Lagos State.

Asiwaju Tinubu during the visit was escorted by an unprecedented 124-vehicle convoy.

Responding to the President's actions, the former Anambra State governor said: “Not since the creation of Nigeria by the British has such mindless and embarrassing exhibitionism been purveyed by a politician. Not even the military known for their brash and unbridled display of raw naked power dared to exhibit such recklessness.”

Peter Obi therefore, entreated the leaders to lead by example so the the citizens wil emulate them.

While many people expressed pride in Peter Obi's words and advise, many chided him to do whatever he wants and let President Tinubu also do what he wants as they are not in the same class.
