British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has hinted that he may hang up his gloves before the end of the year.
AJ's last fight was in September 2024, where he suffered a disappointing fifth-round knockout against Daniel Dubois.
The two-time heavyweight champion is expected to return to the ring later this year, possibly for his final bout.
Speaking in a recent interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, the British-Nigerian boxer revealed that his "last punch" will be thrown in 2025.
“Long may you reign supreme and keep giving fighters opportunities to become champions and make boxing great, the 35-year-old said.
“12 years ago, I signed with you, and 12 years later I will throw my last punch with you.”
Joshua was paying tribute to Matchroom Boxing, the promotion company that has managed him throughout his professional career.
