The family tension between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has deepened as the actress’s elder brother, Sweezy, vowed to return to Nigeria despite warnings of possible arrest.
Sweezy, who is currently outside the country, made the declaration via his Instagram story, saying he would not be intimidated or silenced, even if it meant going to jail.
In his post, he revealed that several people had advised him to stay abroad for his safety. However, he insisted that he had made up his mind to return home, adding that he was ready to face whatever consequences awaited him.
According to Sweezy, Senator Ned allegedly threatened the Daniels family, warning that if Regina did not return to him, the entire family would be arrested.
He also claimed that Ned was planning to have their mother, Rita Daniels, detained.
He wrote: “Them say make I no enter Nigeria, them go carry me! Ned, I go enter, carry all of us! Do that thing wey dey your mind. Lock me up! As you wan arrest my mama, I go do wetin go make you arrest me too. Make we just turn jail our home.”
It was earlier reported that Regina’s brother, Sammy West, was arrested in Lagos and flown to Abuja under controversial circumstances.
Sweezy claimed Sammy was handcuffed, blindfolded, and denied food during the journey.
The Daniels family has linked Sammy’s arrest to the ongoing marital dispute between Regina and Ned Nwoko, with the actress alleging domestic abuse and emotional distress before leaving her husband’s home.
