Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide, has alleged that Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan paid him an undisclosed sum to settle false sexual harassment claims she levelled against him.

Omokri made this known when he appeared on The Honest Bunch Podcast.

The former presidential aide stated that the senator, through her husband, Emmanuel Uduaghan, opted for an out-of-court resolution after he threatened legal action for defamation.

He claims to have payment evidence and says the bank can verify the transaction records if Nigerians seek the truth.

''This Natasha did not pay me directly, but it was her husband, then he was her boyfriend until they later got married.

''They paid me money, and she denied it. A lot of money, and this man (pointing at an unseen personality in the video) has the evidence, and we can produce a bank manager to testify in court.

''They paid me a lot of money because they falsely accused me, and after that, I called my lawyer, Mike Ozekhome.

''I was going to head to court because I thought it was just a one-off,'' he said.

He revealed that the sum he got from the deal was spent on funding his vacation to an unnamed country.

According to him, Natasha accused him of sexual harassment, claiming it happened at an event in May 2014.

''She claimed that at a state banquet at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, held by President Goodluck Jonathan for the visiting Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, on Tuesday, May 6th 2014, I had sexually harassed her," he said.
