I was a master in arranged miracles; pastors now use my template - Abel Damina

Founder of Abel Damina Ministries International, Pastor Abel Damina has described miracles being performed by some pastors as ‘arranged miracles.’

Sharing his thoughts on the Honest Bunch podcast, Pastor Damina claims he used to be one of those pastors who performed fake miracles and healing, with the intention of living a better life.

His comment comes following the backlash that arose after he criticized the miracles that occurred during the prayer conference in the United Kingdom organized by Pastor Jerry Eze.

He noted that he is not jealous of Pastor Jerry Eze, the convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration, a popular online digital prayer meeting platform.

Explaining his thoughts, Pastor Damina stated that he used to be a master in the act of deceiving people with fake miracles and that some recent pastors are using his methods.

Here is what he said,

“When I started ministry, Ibiyieome had not become born again; he was still in Cele. ‘What God cannot do does not exist’ is not the truth. People think I’m jealous of Jerry Eze. I believe in miracles and healing but not this ‘arrangee’ that we are seeing today. Can’t you see that most of these crutches are brand new, the same colour? In what world will people come for a crusade and all of them are carrying the same brand of crutches?

Why are you asking for tithe? If you read the book of Acts, nobody paid tithes to anybody. Jesus didn’t pay tithes; Jesus didn’t receive tithes. All the disciples of Jesus had professions, so all these ideas that God has called you so you must resign from your job, I don’t know where they are bringing it from because it is not in the Bible.

I was a master in that gospel. Some of them, its my template they are using. It was a gospel that started by saying, men of God should not be poor because God is not poor. And it started making sense and we started seeing some men of God raising money and living better. So, we also wanted to live better.”
