I want to knock out Joshua - Franklin brags

American heavyweight boxer Jermaine Franklin believes he can knock out two-time champion Anthony Joshua when they lock horns at the O2 Arena on April 1.

Having lost his last bout to Dillian Whyte at the Wembley Arena last November in a fight many believe he should have won or at least manage a draw, the 30-year-old is looking to take matters into his own hands before the fight gets to the judges in his next major fight against AJ.

“I’m trying to knock Joshua out. I know I’m probably not going to get no fair shake over here. That’s our mentality, kill. I don’t want to sh*t on nobody, but we’ve already kind of been through that. We kind of just got through that situation,” Franklin told IFL TV as quoted by The PUNCH.

The bout will be Anthony Joshua's first bout following his back-to-back defeat to Oleksandr Usyk as the 33-year-old looks to get his career
back on track.
