Nigerian comedian and streamer Carter Efe has opened up about a devastating heartbreak, revealing how he once discovered his ex-girlfriend in a hotel room with another man, and still went on to send her a meal that very same day.

Speaking during a recent interview with British media personality Madame Joyce, the popular skit maker recalled the surreal moment he realized his partner was cheating on him.

Carter Efe explained that after calling her while she was lodging at a hotel, he asked her to turn on the room lights during their video chat, only to spot another man present.

“I have once been cheated on. I don’t know for sure if she cheated, but I called her when she was at a hotel and asked her to switch on the lights only to find out she was with a man. I still bought her food and carried it to the hotel, but it will never happen again," he said.

Sweeping aside any future romantic prospects back home, Carter Efe declared that he is completely finished with dating or marrying Nigerian women, accusing them of being overly driven by money.

Instead, following his recent trip abroad, the streamer revealed his sights are now set on British women, whom he praised for loving "wholeheartedly" without transactional demands.
