I’m wondering what else Tinubu forged aside his CSU certificate - Steve Hanke

Professor of Applied Economics at Johns Hopkins in the United States, Steve Hanke, has taken a swipe at President Bola Tinubu over his academic records scandal.

In a series of posts on his X page(formerly Twitter), Steve Hanke noted that it is a known fact that President Tinubu submitted a forged diploma certificate to INEC ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

He also wondered what else Tinubu forged aside his forged Chicago State University school records.

Tinubu's academic records gain international prominence after Atiku petitioned a court in United States to ask the Chicago State University to release Tinubu's academic records to support his claim that Mr Tinubu forged a diploma certificate he claimed to have obtained from CSU in 1979 and submitted to Nigeria’s electoral body, INEC.

However, the document CSU released showed that Tinubu indeed graduated from CSU, although the gender and date of birth on the certificate raised questions.

Hanke who has been known to be vocal on African issues on Twitter, shared a number of concerns he had with Nigeria and its government.

He wrote;
