Nigerian rapper CDQ has reflected on how his breakthrough in the music industry changed his life, particularly for his family.

Speaking on his journey, the artist revealed that after achieving his first major hit and beginning to earn substantial income, one of his top priorities was to uplift his loved ones in a significant way.

In his words, “Immediately I got my first hit song and had big money, I relocated my mum and my siblings to Spain.”

For him, success went beyond fame and public attention. His focus was on improving his family’s living conditions and ensuring they had access to a better life as soon as possible.
