Desmond Elliot, a lawmaker in the Lagos State House of Assembly (Surulere Constituency), has been captured apologizing to the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.

The former Nollywood actor pleaded for reintegration into the Lagos All Progressives Congress family after going against the party during the last primary election.

He admitted his thoughts misled him in the primaries and accepted the verdict of the people of Surulere. Desmond Elliot then pledged to renew his loyalty to the GAC leadership in Lagos.

"I'm sorry. I have no excuse. I have nothing to say other than that I am sorry. I'm hoping to be cultured in the way of the family," he said.

In his response, Gbajabiamila, in a rare display of a large heart, granted Desmond Elliot an audience and warmly embraced him after all his misguided actions during the last APC primaries in Lagos.
