Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has once again emphasized his harmonious relationship with his principal, affirming that their collaboration continues to serve the best interests of the state.
Following a discussion with President Bola Tinubu at Abuja's Presidential Villa, the governor clarified that his visit was primarily to update the President on the recent lifting of his suspension and his return to official duties on September 19.
He highlighted that the harmony among Rivers State's political leaders is sincere and that the reconciliation efforts are genuine.
Fubara also shared that President Tinubu imparted valuable leadership and governance advice, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to stability and effective service.
This visit comes shortly after President Tinubu announced the end of the emergency rule in Rivers State last week, a measure that had been in effect since March 18.
