I’ll not delay filling of vacant positions – Ladoja

The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has said that he would not delay the filling of any vacant position in the Olubadan Chieftaincy line.

Ladoja, in a statement on Monday by his spokesman, Adeola Oloko, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, disclosed this while playing host to the Asipa Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi, at his residence in Lagos.

He said, “I was not in Ibadan when the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin joined his ancestors, on Monday, July 7, 2025.”

The former Governor of Oyo State extolled the virtues of the late paramount ruler, saying “Kabiyesi Olakulehin lived an impactful life and gave a good account of himself.

“There would be no delay in filling every pending vacancy in the Olubadan chieftaincy line,” he stated.

PUNCH Online reports that Oba Olakulehin, who joined his ancestors at the age of 90, few days to celebrate his first coronation anniversary.
