'I hope for a better Nigeria, productive economy' - Dr Reuben Abati prays

Popular on-air-personality and Arise TV host Reuben Abati has taken his motherland into consideration as he makes touching prayer request for Nigeria on his birthday.

Celebrating his 58th birthday, the media personality reflected on the happenings in the country as he offered prayers of fruitfulness for Nigeria.

He said that even though he was starting a new chapter, he could not allow his thoughts to drift off to the status of his nation.

Reuben Abati called on his countrymen and the current administration to collaborate in improving the state of the nation and prayed for a better Nigeria with a prosperous economy.

He urged that Nigerians work and stay in unity as it was the only way for the country to progress.

He wrote: "While I reflect on my new year, my mind is also occupied with the state of my fatherland. As a nationalist and journalist, a better Nigeria with a productive economy is what I hope for, as we continue to navigate through recent challenges, we have to work together with the present administration for the good of our great nation. Belief in unity, Belief in Prosperity for all."
