Angel, the CEO of Homeland Restaurant, a Nigerian-owned restaurant operating in Ghana has stated that starting her business in Ghana was one of the great decisions she has made because of the flexible working conditions in the country.

She made the statement in an exclusive interview with MyNigeria.

"I didn't regret starting a business in Ghana, and I don't want to go to Nigeria to run my business. What I am doing here is okay for me," she said.

According to her, the demands for diasporans working in the country are flexible enough for businesses like hers to thrive.

"The condition here is that we make the environment neat because they do go around to check whether the environment is neat or not."

On taxes, she said, "We do pay the one they call 'Amen', we do pay Revenue, and we do pay Tourism."

Angela also added that people of all walks of live patronise her food, and they are not only made of Nigerians but Ghanaians and 'white people' as well.

"I cannot count the number of people that come here, a lot of people come here to eat, from various places ... both Nigerians and Ghanaians come and eat here. Sometimes I do have white men to come here to come and eat, and eat Eba for that matter," she said.

She however concluded that getting a space for her business was not easy, as her restaurant is located in one of the busiest and bustling suburbs in Accra.

"It's God's grace that I got this place because here in tiptoe lane, it's not easy for you to get a large place like this."
