I have no plan to join APC - Wike

Former Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has disclosed that he has no plan of joining the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

He made this known after he alongside the Peoples Democratic Party Governor, Seyi Makinde of Oyo state; a PDP Chieftain and former governor of Delta state, James Ibori, paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu at the presidential villa on Friday, June 2.

According to Wike, his visit to Tinubu in Aso Rock has nothing to do with his defection to APC.

He stated that he attended the meeting to show his support for the new president.

“No. No plans. Nothing like that in the offing. We are Nigerians and we have come to give the president support. That is what is required. There is no big deal about that,” Wike said.
