Popular social media critic, Martins Vinceent Otse, has reacted to a kind gesture shown by social media commentator, Isaac Fayose, to help him buy his dream car.

On Sunday, September 14, VeryDarkMan, who recently visited Ghana and made headlines after visiting the Igbo traders and the Igbo leader in the country, was spotted posing with a 1995 Hummer pickup, which he described as his dream car.

While admiring the giant pickup, he prayed for his ancestors to help him own the vehicle one day.

In his words: “I finally had the opportunity to snap with my dream car. Ancestors come through for me ASAP.”

The post quickly got the attention of businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose, who called on the public to raise money for VeryDarkMan to buy the car, as a special birthday gift.

He even pledged to donate N10 million, saying the critic deserved the car as a birthday gift.

Isaac wrote:

“Let us buy this Hummer truck for @verydarkblackman for his next birthday… He deserves a gift from us. Who is joining me on this? I will drop 10 million.”

Responding to the pledge, VeryDarkMan thanked Isaac for the kind gesture but said if the car was bought for him, he would sell it and use the money for charity.

He wrote: “EGBON, if una contribute buy am for me I go sell am use the money do charity ooooooo… Meanwhile, 10 million naira tho egbon haaaaaa. I appreciate the love egbon, but make una no contribute. GOD BLESS THE RATEL MOVEMENT.”

The post has since stirred reactions online, with many fans debating whether he should accept the offer or stick to his charity plans.
