'I get BP when I read social media posts' - President Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has disclosed that he doesn't check social media posts again in order to avoid getting high blood pressure.

In an old video that has surfaced on social media, the president claimed that reading social media posts causes him to become agitated and have elevated blood pressure, so he stopped doing them.

Tinubu claims that he avoids reading social media comments because doing so could endanger his health because of the abuse he gets there.

He also said that he just asks his children or those in his immediate vicinity for information when he wants it than going to social media.

He said: "I don’t read social media anymore. They abused the hell out of me. If I read it I get high blood pressure, I get angry. I don’t read it no. If I want to hear anything, my children or people there will tell me"
