Nollywood actor Charles Okocha dismissed claims that he bit singer Portable during their recent celebrity boxing rematch in Lagos.

Both entertainers had their first fight in 2023, with Portable emerging victorious.

The rematch, however, saw Portable stage a walk out, with claims that he was bitten by his opponent on the back and neck.

Addressing the allegations during an appearance on TVC Entertainment on Tuesday, Okocha stated that he could not have bitten the singer because he wore a mouth guard throughout the fight.

He described the allegation as an excuse not to accept defeat.

“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back,” he said. “I was wearing a mouth guard; how is that even possible? He was just lying.”

Speaking further, he said,“I would rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies,” the actor said.

He also made disparaging remarks about Portable’s skin before urging him to accept the outcome of the fight.
