Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has opened up on his decision to join Bursaspor in the summer, snubbing interest from Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.
The 30-year-old made a surprise move to the Turkish second-tier league after an impressive loan stint with Celtic last season.
The move raised eyebrows considering the fact that Celtic expressed interest in making his loan deal permanent.
The former Sevilla man has been in an explosive form since joining the Green Crocodiles, firing from all cylinders in the Turkish Lig 1.
The Nigerian international has registered 16 goals and provided three assists in 12 league appearances for his new club.
Speaking on his summer move to Turkey, the former Leicester City man said focuses more on his football, leaving transfer dealings with his agents.
“To be fair, I don’t talk about transfers. I really try to concentrate on my football. The transfer talks were done with the agents and directors," he told Bursaspor TV.
