I don't know - Wike's response to if he will accept a political appointment from Tinubu

Rivers State Nyesom Wike has responded to a question on whether he will accept an appointment from the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the incoming APC should he offer any.

Wike has been at loggerheads with his own party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) raising an alarm that he is in bed with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The rumors intensified after the ruling APC won the presidential elections in the state.

Speaking in a media chat with some selected journalists in the state house in Port Harcourt, Wike said simply said he was not a member of the party hence he is unsure of the decision of the largest opposition party.

"No no no. We haven't gotten to that level. We are not at their party and I don't know what they are planning to do," he said.
