A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has given reasons why he's the right choice to receive the party's ticket for the 2027 Lagos State Governorship election.

According to him, among the contestants, he is the youngest and connects more with younger people, 70 per cent of whom form the voting population

Jandor highlighted that he controls a lot of grassroots following across the entire 377 wards in Lagos State, and these are his foot soldiers who are scattered all around zones and units in all of the wards.

In a post on X, he itemised other qualities that make him stand out.

He wrote, "Jandor is from Lagos West, the largest senatorial district in Lagos state with over 65% of Lagos Votes.

"Jandor is from Badagry Division, the only division that has never produced Governor before in the history of Lagos state, and at the same time, the Division that has more population compared to other traditional divisions.

"⁠Jandor is an Awori Man. The Aworis are in 17 out of the 20 Local Government in Lagos State.

"⁠Jandor is a successful business man who has grown his personal business from the scratch.

"Jandor has Masters in Information Management from the prestigious Module University, Vienna.

"Jandor has electioneering experience, having single-handedly ran for election with no institutional backing in the last election.

"⁠Jandor already has a name recognition and he’s seen as breath of fresh air amongst the youths.

"⁠Jandor communicates well in both English and Yoruba. He understands and knows every nook and cranny of Lagos.

"⁠He’s a perfect bridge builder between the young and the aged."
