I am supporting Tinubu to deal with the youth - Ex APC chieftain says

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

An old video of Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has resurfaced on social media.

In the video, Galadima can be seen criticizing Nigerians after President Bola Tinubu was elected.

During the interview in the old video, Galadima expressed his support for President Bola Tinubu in dealing with young Nigerians who were allegedly coerced with money to vote for the former Lagos State Governor.

Bola Tinubu was declared the winner of the presidential elections, with Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate, finishing second and third, respectively.

"I’m supporting Tinubu 100 percent to deal with Nigerians. People like you, so that when the next election comes, I will now see whether when people bring money you will vote for them or you will use your conscience."

"I want to say that, I think most, a lot of people voted per conscience, regardless of if there is money involved or not. Even if I’m talking about my demographic young people in Lagos did not vote for Tinubu. They were the closest to him and he did not win the election there. It’s true. I live in Lagos, I don’t know anybody who is my age, who voted for Tinubu, and who is not related to him. But who will I will blame? I don’t think it’s fair to blame us. You guys have the power, the money, and the knowledge."

"They said power belongs to (Those who take it) power belongs to the people. So what are you doing? If you coax and compromise, it means you have supported what has happened. Supported evil."
