'I am not quitting politics' - Atiku declares

Former Vice-President and flagbearer of the People's Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has declared that he will continue to do politics and still be on the run for presidency come 2027.

He made this known during an address to the nation on the way forward of the party after the Supreme Court judgement which upheld the legitimacy of Bola Tinubu's presidency.

The apex court, on Thursday, October 26, declared that President Bola Tinubu indeed won the February election.

The seven-men panel also dismissed the appeals filed by Atiku and his counterpart, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, adding that their appeal lacks merit.
