Pastor Jerry Eze has expressed deep concern over the abduction of pupils and teachers from schools in Oyo State, describing the incident as heartbreaking and traumatic.
Speaking during a church service, the Streams of Joy International founder revealed that he nearly cancelled his church's Children's Day celebration after hearing the news.
The cleric said he could not stop thinking about the affected children, especially the emotional trauma they may face after their release.
“I have two children, and I can only imagine what the parents are going through. My greatest concern is the trauma the children will carry from this experience,” he said.
Pastor Jerry also offered prayers for the safe return of the victims and called on security agencies and government authorities to act swiftly to secure their release.
