How goat their was nabbed in Osun

A thief was in the early hours of Tuesday, caught stealing goat and cows in Ikirun.

The incident according to anonymous sources occured at Kajola Street, Ikirun.

The sources also disclosed that the unidentified thief has been handed over to the Ifelodun Division of the Osun State Police Command.

The source said residents who were angry had set a trap for him which eventually led to his apprehension on Tuesday morning.

Information gathered had showed that most domesticated animal thieves come firm outside Osun State.

They come into isolated communities, scout out their target areas, strike when residents are away at work and after a successful 'hunt', carry these animals across state boundaries to Lagos to sell them off.

Many of them have been arrested by security personnel attached to the Osun State Police Command, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps and Osun Amotekun Corps.
