How can Nigeria be facing Christian genocide when one million Bibles are being distributed? - Omokri

Reno Omokri Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has counted the claims that Nigeria is facing a Christian genocide.

The claim is mostly peddled by foreign agents and some US lawmakers.

Reacting, Omokri cited the distribution of one million Bibles to Nigerians by friends of the President's son, Seyi Tinubu.

According to him, such gesture done to mark the 40th birthday of the President's son couldn't be happening in a country where Christian genocide is ongoing.

Omokri wrote on Facebook, "How can you say there is a Christian genocide in Nigeria when friends of the President's son distributed a million Christian Bibles to mark his 40th birthday? Are these people spreading this allegation rational beings?

"Have they or their friends even shared out even one hundred Bibles to members of their community or their fellow American citizens?

"Christians Dominate Nigeria's Military Leadership:

"The Chief of Defence Staff, General Chris Musa, is a Christian
The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, is a Christian
The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, is a Christian
The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, is a Christian

"Three out of four service chiefs are Christians. And their boss is also a Christian. Only the Chief of Air Staff is a Muslim. Given the above facts, can Senator Ted Cruz help Nigeria out by naming and shaming the Nigerian officials that he claims are facilitating a genocide against Christians?"
