How Pastor Chris' spiritual son Prophet Angel predicted Turkey earthquake and Pele's death

Popular and controversial cleric, Uebert Angel predicted the earthquake that caused the death of thousands of people in Turkey and Syria.

This follows the emergence of a video of the Zimbabwean prophet prophesying the disaster on February 6, 2022, and January 11, 2023 some weeks before it happened.

"I saw Europe and Asia. It was like smoke from underneath the earth and the smoke had risen and they say it was a no-fly zone," he said in the viral video.

On February 6, 2022, he said again: "We still need to pray for Asia. It's like there’s a spirit of death that is touching those people before the word touches them. It was just right in the morning, I began to see a vision where people in Burkas running away. You just see people dying and its disasters everywhere."

The video has since generated some reactions on social media.

Turkey and Syria were thrown into a state of mourning when a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck.

The quake hit at depth of 11 miles (18 kilometers) and was centered in southern Turkey, near the northern border of Syria, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, according to APNews.com.

Many aftershocks rocked the two countries since the initial quake. In the first 11 hours, the region had felt 13 significant aftershocks with a magnitude of at least 5, said Alex Hatem, a USGS research geologist.

Another strong quake — magnitude 7.5 — hit Turkey nine hours after the main jolt. Though scientists were studying whether that was an aftershock, they agreed that the two quakes are related.

“More aftershocks are certainly expected, given the size of the main shock,” Hatem said. “We expect aftershocks to continue in the coming days, weeks and months.”

Prophet Angel predicts Pele death

Prophet Angel is reported to have, in a controversial manner predicted the death of football icon Pele. In a tweet, he claimed that he had accurately predicted that Pele would die before the end of 2022.

He claims to have made the prophecy on 2 January, 11 September and 23 October.

“International prophecy fulfilled. Pele dies aged 82 – just 2 days before the year 2022 ended exactly as prophesied on multiple occasions fore-warning the people” tweeted Prophet Angel.

“Then the Lord said to me – something that I need to say nicely. This year, I saw them crying for a legend in Brazil. Everyone. And the Lord said: ‘Look there, they are crying for a person but they are not crying for their ways’. Pele will die”, it is claimed this is the prophecy Angel made on 2nd of January this year.

Relatioship with Nigerian televangelist, Chris Oyakhilome

Prophet Angel and popular televangelist, Pastor Chris share a unique bond. This was confirmed by Angel who in 2005 credited Pastor Chris for playing an inspirational role in the formation of his Spirit Embassy church in 2007.

He said during New Year’s Eve that Eve and his wife Beverly were watching Pastor Chris’s New year Message on television and say that’s when the seeds were immediately sown.

In a tribute on his Instagram page in 2018, Angel wrote: “My level of indebtedness, honour and love to and for this man, pastor CHRIS OYAKHILOME, is beyond my ability to articulate and even my own comprehension.

“It is then of paramount importance that it be known that Pastor CHRIS OYAKHILOME is not a man I call a ‘friend’ but a mentor, a life coach and a ‘father figure’ because calling such grace a ‘Friend’ is tantamount undoing all of my spiritual dignity and integrity.

In November 2018, Angel and his wife Beverly again went to Nigeria for the glittering marriage ceremony of Carissa Sharon Oyakhilome (popularly known as CSO), a UK-based gospel singer and daughter of Pastor Chris and Anita Oyakhilome, who got married to her lover Philip Frimpong.
