A brilliant lady has written her name in Nigeria's history books after earning her Ph.D at the age of 25-years-old.

Identified as Priscilla Asikhia, she graduated from Babcock University, Ogun State, South-Western Nigeria.

According to her, hard work and diligent study was the main ingredient of her academic success.

She said via her LinkedIn handle that it took her 10 years to earn a Ph.D.

She said, “successive 10-year education has given me a grounded knowledge of Educational Research, Administration, and Human Resources.

Trust me, it hasn’t been easy. Having to combine work and school at a very young age has been tasking, but all glory to God for being with me all the way.”

At age 15, Priscilla gained admission into the university and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration by 19.

Not satisfied yet, she enrolled for a Master’s program in business administration and management, graduating at 22. That same semester she finished her Master’s, she started a Ph.D in human resources and personnel administration.

After completing her doctorate at age 25, Priscilla is her institution’s youngest Ph.D graduate and one of Nigeria’s youngest Doctors of Philosophy.

“I am happy to say that I have just received a Ph.D degree, making me Babcock University’s youngest Ph.D graduate. The achievement belongs entirely to God,” she said.

A successive 10-year education has given me a grounded knowledge of Educational Research, Administration, and Human Resource.

Through the knowledge gained in these past years, I believe I can add value to the nation and the world at large.

A 2-year work experience at Emzor pharmaceuticals as an HR and Unified payments as a Business Operation Specialist, has given me the opportunity to practice what has been learned in these past years.

Trust me, it hasn't been easy. Having to combine work and school at a very young age has been tasking but all glory to God for being with me all the way.

"I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13) is the verse of the scripture that keeps me going.
