A 42-year-old woman from Kebbi state has narrated how she was scammed by her son in-law, Gambu Adamu of over N5 million and false marriage to former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The mother of six claims that before she met her son in-law in 2017, she was one of the most successful food vendors in Minna.

She noted that her son-inlaw’s scam forced her to sell her shop and a plot of land in Minna.

According to her, the scammer who married her daughter deceived her into establishing an NGO, making her the Chief Executive Officer of the organisation.

She also alleged that the son in-law made her acquire office accommodation, which she furnished with office equipment.

In her narration, she mentioned how she sponsored series of his claimed meetings, seminars, workshops including the one attended by former President Muhammadu Buhari, where her son in-law alleged that the former President, the former Kebbi state Governor Atiku Bagudu separately had interest in making her wife, having seen the video clips of their meetings.

The 42-year-old mother said she was convinced after her daughter, who was the scammer’s wife asked her to choose the former President. She was later told that marriage is been conducted between her and the former President.

She said; “He told me that one Hadi Sirika, represented former President Muhammadu Buhari at the wedding and warned me not to tell anybody while subjecting me to medical examinations and spiritual preparatory to my movement to the State House. He even brought me a T-shirt from the former President that after I use it, I should wash and give him some of the waste water.”

She stated that she became suspicious after several requests to see her groom failed.

As a result, the son in-law has been convicted by a magistrate court in Tunga, Minna.
