A video of Prophet Uebert Angel prophecising the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump in 2022 has resurfaced.

Trump was shot at during a rally in Pennsylvania on Friday, July 12.

About 150 yards to the north of the former president, the gunman identified as Thomas Mattew Crooks shot at the Republican leader after gaining access to the roof of a building outside the rally security perimeter. CNN reports that he had an AR-style weapon with him and fired six minutes into the former president’s speech.

The assassination attempt has generated mixed reactions globally with President Bola Tinubu describing the attack on Trump as “distasteful” and “going beyond the pale of democratic norms. Violence has no place in democracy.”

While the conversation continues on social and traditional media, Angel who serves as Zimbabwe’s Presidential Envoy and Ambassador At Large To Europe and the Americas said in October 2022 "You will see assassinations. Attempted assassinations" adding "what they used to say of Africa, they about to see it in the Western world."

In another May prophecy, Chris Oyakhilome's spiritual son said: "Pray for Donald Trump. Pray for him. There are plans and ditches planned for him to fall in but the Lord said no no I will protect him. But how does he protect him, he protects him by our prayers."

At least three rally attendees were shot, one of whom was killed.

The incident is being investigated as an assassination attempt. It is the first time since 1981, when John Hinckley Jr. tried to assassinate Ronald Reagan, that a current or former president has been shot at.
