Afrobeats global superstar Burna Boy has taken luxury living to a whole new level after reportedly having his Ferrari lifted by crane to his 26th-floor penthouse in the upscale Ikoyi district of Lagos.

Images circulating on social media, shared by popular Nigerian blog Instablog9ja, show a striking red Ferrari suspended mid-air by a crane against the Lagos skyline, being hoisted up the side of a high-rise building in what has become one of the most talked-about celebrity moments in recent memory.

The photos, which racked up over 2.1 million views within hours of being posted, left social media users equal parts stunned and amused, with many struggling to process what they were seeing.

The audacious move is being widely interpreted as a statement of extreme wealth and an assertion of Burna Boy's status as one of Africa's biggest and most successful entertainers.

It is not yet clear whether the Ferrari was placed on the penthouse balcony as a permanent fixture, a temporary display, or for another purpose entirely.
