Hopeless, shameless human beings, who have no conscience – Wike slams defecting governors

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has described governors defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as hopeless and shameless human beings.

According to him, these people leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lacks conscience.

Governor Wike claims the people who are defecting won their elections after the party fought for them.

He said this at the flag-off of Woji-Aleto-Alesa-Refinery Road and bridge on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

Wike alleged that the APC are blackmailing some of the PDP governors into joining their party. However, he vowed never to leave the PDP for the APC.

He said;

“People who could not win ordinary election. The party used technicality and went to court and got victory. Now, they say they are leaving the party. Hopeless, shameless human beings. People who have no conscience.

“Bring everything you have against me, I will not join you. Rivers state will not join you. Even if it is only Rivers state in this country, we will continue to be Peoples Democratic Party,"Lindaikejisblog quoted.

His comment comes hours after Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress
