Head Teachers to get better packages, official cars, Sanwo-Olu vows

Head Teachers would get better welfare packages, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has promised.

He made this statement during an inspection tour at CMS Schools, Bariga, the venue of the ongoing training for primary school teachers.

He noted that the training with Bridge International Academies was imperative and designed to improve the curriculum of schools, digitize it and further enhance the quality of education in the state.

He stressed the importance of capacity development in the state.

"Our administration is creating a situation where school will be attractive to children, irrespective of social background

"We believe the first effort to shape their future is to make them look forward to going to school every day in their formative years," he said.

The State Governor went on to assure Head Teachers of better welfare packages and official vehicles to facilitate their duties, adding that their welfare was very important to him.

"Our teachers' continuous welfare is also very important to and I assured the Head Teachers of a better welfare package and announced that they will all get official vehicles going forward," the Governor promised.
