He will suffer for it – Labour Party faction leader curses young man who removed his cap

Factional leader of the Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa has laid curses on a young man who removed his cap while he was being booed and mocked outside the Appeal Court in Abuja on Wednesday.

Recall that Apapa was accosted by a large crowd who had gathered around him to taunt him, thereby calling him a thief wile he tried to make his way to his car.

In an attempt to escape the humiliation, he was immediately whisked away to safety by some police operatives.

Reacting to the incident, a press briefing was organized by Apapa led faction of the Labour Party to address the incident.

Sharing his ordeal, Apapa cursed the young man who removed his cap, saying he will suffer for his deed.

“The boy who removed my cap he will suffer it in his life. I saw him, he is a young chap, he will never grow old by God’s grace. He deserves it. I didn’t use cutlass on him, he deserved to be cursed.”

The 78-year-old leader also accused Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party and Julius Abure of masterminding the attack on him at the court.

The raging crowd surrounded Apapa following his altercation with Akin Osuntokun, the director general of the Presidential Campaign Council over court seat.
