Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has named former AC Milan and Brazil goalkeeper Dida as the football star he looked up to while growing up.

The Super Eagles star made this disclosure during an interaction on Snapchat when asked which goalkeeper he admired while growing up.

Dida won two UEFA Champions League titles with the Rossoneri and made 91 appearances for the Seleção.

This comes amid the controversy surrounding the 27-year-old goalkeeper and the national team after he was spotted with American rapper Cardi B at Milan Fashion Week.

Okoye, who is currently with the Super Eagles, reported late for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau.

His late arrival for national duty cost him a starting spot in both games, with Chippa United’s Stanley Nwabali getting the nod.
