'He warned us before oo' - Nigerians dig up Tinubu's campaign speech amid hike in prices

An old video of President Bola Tinubu mistakenly telling Nigerians that high prices is here during his campaign rally has resurfaced.

Recall that during the campaign last year leading to the presidential election in 2023, President Tinubu went on a campaign trail to various states across the country.

In a bid to win the hearts of Nigerians, Tinubu made some campaign promises urged residents to vote for him.

On December 1, during a campaign rally in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital, Tinubu said, "I bring you hope that happiness is here, that high prices is here," he immediately corrected himself saying "is gone."

The emergence of this video is as a result of the recent increment in fuel, food and other commodities.

This occurred after President Bola Tinubu assumed power and removed fuel subsidy.

Several Nigerians have raised concerns, called on Tinubu to find a solution to the recent increment as this has made life uncomfortable for many.
