Reigning African Footballer of the Year, Ademola Lookman, has reportedly informed Atalanta that he wants to leave the club this summer.

This was disclosed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a post via his official X handle.

According to Romano, Lookman is interested in a move to Inter Milan after the Nerazzurri contacted his camp to express their interest.

“Ademola Lookman, keen on Inter move after further contacts tonight with his camp. He told Atalanta he wants to leave,” Romano tweeted.

“Inter will soon submit their initial bid for the Nigerian forward, while
Atalanta insist on more than €40 million from Italian clubs.”

The Super Eagles star had a stellar campaign with Atalanta last season, scoring 20 goals across all competitions for La Dea.
