Editor-In-Chief for Today Community Newspaper, Dayo Akintobi has asked Nigerians to rally behind president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu after his arrival from the French capital, France.

Recall that Tinubu arrived at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport in Abuja on Monday, April 24 after spending more than one month abroad.

His absence from the country led to speculations about his health.

Tinubu's health status once again generated reactions after Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) Line was seen in his right arm.

However, reacting to the health status of Mr. Dayo Akintobi said that the conversation shouldn't be about Tinubu's health because he has proven to be fit.

"Remember that he ran on a mantra of renewed hope and there has been a lot of speculation about his health and I think that there will continue to be. Look he got off the plane yesterday looking fit as a fiddle, looking robust, he walked down the steps himself accompanied by his wife and son. He was active and was in a jubilant mood and people turned out to welcome him."

"So I think we should give him the benefit of a doubt. During the campaign, a lot was placed on his health and I felt a lot of attention should have been placed on his capabilities."

"He is a dogged fighter, he has been in the trenches for a long time."
