Vice President Yemi Osinbajo's declaration to run for the presidential seat in the upcoming 2023 general elections has generated a lot of reactions from Nigerians all over the world.

Some Nigerians living in Ghana as they interacted with MyNigeria's correspondent in Ghana, Barbara Esinam Bonney stated that Yemi Osinbajo should not be given the mandate to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to them, Yemi did not work to their expectations as the vice president of the country, and as such, must not be given any more power.

Anozie, a Nigerian worker who settled in Ghana in 2017 said, "Osinbajo is a fearful politician. Osinbajo will not be able to be a president of Nigeria, because for somebody to be a president the person should be active in terms of the spiritual and physical. Osinbajo is not well prepared to be the president of Nigeria."

"What has he done for us while he was a Vice-President? Right now that he is going to run for president what is he going to do for us again? It is better, why not allow one of our Igbo brothers to stand? We are tired of the Lagos, Muslims and Yorubas. They should look for a young guy to be president. That's what we need. We are tired of the old men," Evans also a Nigerian worker in Ghana added.

Bunkechukwu suggested that Nigerians should consider voting for Peter Obi or Rochas Okorocha in place of Yemi Osinbajo.

"We want the likes of Peter Obi, Rochas Okorocha, those people, if they take Nigeria, they will do massive something to the country," he said.
