Gunmen kill Delta PoS operator, cart away N2m

Gunmen have shot dead a Point of Sales terminal operator, Kelly Onomor, in Sapele, Delta State.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the robbers stormed the victim’s shop on Ogodo Road by Cemetery, Sapele, on Tuesday around 8 pm and shot him in the head after he refused to hand over a bag containing N2m cash, being the day’s business proceeds.

Witnesses said the late Onomor, a native of Okpe, was rushed to a nearby clinic where he was confirmed dead.

The deceased reportedly attended Urhiapele Secondary School, Sapele.

The acting Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State, DSP Bright Edafe, said she was not aware of the incident and promised to liaise with the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the area for confirmation.
