Gunmen kidnap parish priest, four parishioners in Abakaliki

Gunmen on Tuesday abducted Rev. Fr. Joseph Azubuike, a Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Abakaliki, alongside three members of the church in Mgbaleze Isu, Onicha local government area, Ebonyi State.

The Parish Priest was kidnapped close to his parish, Saint Charles Parish while returning from pastoral duties.

Meanwhile, the gunmen have demanded an undisclosed amount of ransom.

The state police command is yet to react to the incident.
