Guinea-Bissau vs. Nigeria: Djurtus sweating over Super Eagles tormenter's fitness

Guinea-Bissau winger Mama Sambe Balde is racing against time to be fit for the Djurtus' return encounter against the Super Eagles in the Nations Cup qualifiers later today (March 27).

The 27-year-old scored the only goal on the half-hour mark as Guinea-Bissau stunned the Super Eagles at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja last Friday.

The Troyes winger received a through ball from Opa Sangante in the midfield area to slot home past Francis Uzoho.

Fut245 reports that Balde suffered a knock and didn't participate in the Djurtus' recovery session on Saturday.

Guinea-Bissau currently tops Group A with 7 points following their historic win against the Super Eagles.

Jose Peseiro's side will look to put Friday's disappointment behind them when they trade tackles with Guinea-Bissau at the Estadio 24 de Setembro later today (Monday, March 27).
